The Cambridge University Association Football League (CUAFL) is the primary league for college football. It involves approximately 900 players, with 58 teams competing across six divisions and four cup competitions – the highest participation of any sport at the university. Players compete in a variety of men’s, women’s, JCR and MCR leagues. Games are played every weekend across each of the first two terms, with the season culminating in the Cuppers Final at the end of Lent.
Competition is fierce in the top divisions, and the standard is invariably high. Equally important, though, is the opportunity that the college league offers for everyone to enjoy their football, and the number of second and third teams proudly competing for their college every week is testament to this fact.
If you wish to register a team for CUAFL, or have any other questions about the league, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either of the Co-Chairmen: John Harrison or Marcus Nielsen.
